With the aim of improving health of senior citizens in the township, administrators from wards and village-tracts in the township made a domiciliary visit to the homes of elderly people in Minbu (Saku) in Magway Region, and disbursed social pension for senior citizen above 85 years old starting from January 17 this year.

Administrators from wards and village in the township provided K 32.2 million to senior citizens in the township.

Altogether 776 senior citizens who are eligible for social pension in wards and 53 village-tracts in the township received K 30000 each for three months, according to the township Administrator Department.—Kyaw Soe Win (Minbu)
