Staff from the township Department of Social Welfare under Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement provided social pension to elderly people above 85 years old in Shadaw Township, Kayah State yesterday.

Staff led by Daw Yee Yee Cho from the township Department of Social Welfare made a domiciliary visit to provide social pension to the homes of elderly people in the township and disbursed K 450000 to them.

Fifteen elderly people who are eligible for social pension in Shadaw Township received K 30000 each for the months of January, February and March.—Tun Aung, IPRD
