A total of 40 electric vehicles — 16 BYD Atto 3 electric ve­hicles imported by Essen­tial Motors Co Ltd, 20 Neta V electric vehicles imported by Grand Sirius Co Ltd, four Faw Toyota bZ4X imported by Auto Top Power Co Ltd and 48 Wuyaung Honda elec­tric motorcycles imported by NCX Myanmar Co Ltd were allowed to be claimed in ac­cordance with the customs procedures. The import of EVs and electric motorcycles are approved by the Nation­al-level Steering Committee on Development of Electric Vehicles and Related Indus­tries and exempted from cus­toms tariffs. — MNA/KZW
