AN awareness talk on electrical safety within school premises was held at Aung Pann Myay Private Middle School, located on 32nd Street between 64th and 65th streets in Mandalay, on 28 March.
The session aimed to help students understand the importance of using electricity carefully, preventing fire hazards caused by electrical misuse, and knowing which emergency actions to take if incidents occur. Organizers explained the topics in a clear and simple way using demonstrations, arranged by the Southeast Asia Oil and Gas Pipeline Company (SEAOP).
“We organized this talk so that students can learn how to use electricity safely. Only then can they protect themselves, their school, and their families. We will share practical electrical safety knowledge relevant to their daily lives and surroundings in an easy-to-understand way with examples. We believe students will gain a real understanding of how to stay safe when using electricity,” said Mr Zhao Huatong, Deputy Managing Director of the company.
