ELIGIBLE applicants to purchase Yoma low-cost housing apartment units must draw lots to decide the apartment unit’s location in person, according to the Department of Urban and Housing Development (DUHD) under the Ministry of Construction.
Under the guidance of the Yangon Region government, a committee scrutinized the applications and discarded the incomplete applications. Those 22,246 eligible buyers were selected at the meeting hall 3 of the Yangon Region government on 20 June 2025. They are entitled to draw lots in person for the apartment unit’s location. Each will be informed starting from 24 June.
Drawing lots for the apartment unit’s location will take place at the meeting hall on the second floor of the DUHU in Botahtaung Township, Yangon, scheduled at 9:30 am on 26 June for retirees, 1 pm on 26 June for the public and 9:30 am on 28 June 2025. — NN/KK
