Emerald Green Project funds were disbursed to farmers from 15 villages in MinhlaTownship, Magway Region yesterday.

A total of over K 715.5 million were distributed to 2052 farmers in the villages in the Township for their business by village’s emerald green project committee.

“With the aim of alleviating poverty in rural areas, emerald green project funds have been disbursed to rural people” said U Min Zaw Han, staff officer of the Township RDD.—Za Za (Ahtet Minhla)
