As part of efforts to boost local incomes and improve socio-economic conditions, loans under the Emerald Green Project were disbursed to farmers in Yetaik Village, Thayarwaddy Township, Bago Region, on 1 July.

U Naing Min Tun, head of the Township Rural Development Department, provided an overview of the project’s objectives, benefits, and implementation procedures. A project official then explained the loan guidelines before handing over Ks. 57.7 million to members of the village project committee.

A total of 116 villagers received the loans to support their agricultural and livelihood activities.
