In commemoration of International Literacy Day which falls on September 8, essay, poem, poster, painting and article competitions were held at Basic Education High School in the town of Minhla, Magway Region yesterday morning.

On the occasion, a total of 103 students from primary schools, middle schools and high schools competed in essay, poem, poster, painting and article competitions titled “Let's take education to have power of knowledge”.

Students who win in the competitions will be honored by principal and teachers from Basic Education High School in the town of Minhla.—Zar Zar(Ahtetminhla)
