With the aim of stabilizing and decreasing commodity prices and increasing commodity production, eggs were sold at lower prices than local market prices for the convenience of local people in the crowded places in Danubyu Township of Ayeyarwady Region this morning.
Under the supervision of the Township Administration Body, officials from the Township General Administration Department, Livestock Breeding and Veterinary Department, Development Committee and Department of Consumer Affairs sold eggs at 350 kyats per egg to local people in Ward-4 and Ward-5 in the town of Danubyu.
Officials will continue to sell more than 3,000 eggs daily in consultation with Poultry Farming Companies in Maubin District to ensure that they can purchase eggs at a reasonable price.—Aung Pyae Phyo Zaw(IPRD)
