Essential foodstuffs were sold at fair prices than the local market prices for the convenience of departmental civil servants in the front of the office of the Township Administration Body in Hopong, capital of the Pa'O Self-Administered Zone in southern Shan State.

On the occasion essential foodstuffs such as eggs, milk, yoghurt, pork, chicken, foodstuffs produced by the Tatmadaw factories and vegetables were sold at lower prices than the local market prices.

Brigadier General Thein Naing, principal of the Tatmadaw Computer and Technological Institute in Hongpong Township, secretary of the Township Administration Body of the Pa'O Self-Administered Zone U Tin Htoo Maung and responsible officials viewed round the event.—Pa'O Self-Administered Zone(IPRD)
