On the 105^th anniversary birthday of Bogyoke Aung San, Myanmar’s independence hero, an ethnic village in Tharkaeta township, Yangon was thronged with visitors.

A large number of visitors visited model houses of Myanmar ethnic people such as Kachin, Kayah, Kayin, Chin, Mon, Bamar, Rakhine, Shan. They hired and wore traditional costumes of the ethnic people to pose for beautiful photographs.

Souvenir and gift shops were also crowded with visitors who bought traditional handmade ware of the ethnic people as a gift for their friends.—Cho Myat Myat Htwe (Kaikmaraw)
