EVERY citizen must be knowl­edgeable about law, said Dep­uty Prime Minister and Un­ion Minister for Transport and Communications Gener­al Mya Tun Oo during a legal education session held for civil servants at the Ministry of Transport and Communica­tions in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday morning.

 

The Deputy Prime Min­ister aimed to promote legal knowledge among citizens to prevent crimes due to igno­rance of the law. He empha­sized the need for every citizen to have a good knowledge of relevant laws and their princi­ples to ensure peaceful living within the legal framework. He also urged civil servants to ap­ply the legal knowledge gained in their work, emphasizing the importance of law-abiding con­duct for national development.

 

The session also includ­ed discussions on various key laws, such as the Constitution, Civil Service Law, Election Laws, and Transport Safety Regulations. The event was de­signed to enhance legal aware­ness among public servants and ensure their actions align with the law. — MNA/KZL
