UNVERIFIED reports from subversive media claim that security forces conducted an unprovoked drone attack on West Gan­gaw Village, west of Gan­gaw in Magway Region, resulting in civilian casu­alties and injuries.

According to a state­ment from a relevant secu­rity official, security forc­es do not target or attack villages where civilians reside without military justification. The official stated that only terrorist groups carry out attacks using heavy weapons and drones in areas where they lack local support, aiming to instil fear among the population.
