Pyapone District Disaster Management Department provided cash assistance to families of lightning victims in lamuwa Village, Dedaye Township, Pyapon District, Ayeyawady Region this morning.

A man, identified as Ko Zaw Min was struck to death by lightning when he was working in the field while other man, identified as Ko Nyi Nyi Lwin was suffered a slight injury on 27 May.

Officials from Pyapon District Disaster Management Department made a domiciliary visit to  give K 300000 to the family members of the victims and K 50000 to Ko Nyi Nyi.—Myint Myint Khine, IPRD
