A ceremony to present paddy seeds to farmers affected by floods was held at Shwe Hinthar Hall of the General Administration Department in Kyaikmaraw Township, Mon State yesterday morning.

Paddy seeds were provided to farmers to regrow the damaged farmlands in time. First, Mon State Minister for Kayin Ethnic Affairs U Saw Aung Myint Khaing delivered an address and the in-charge of Chi Charity Foundation Myanmar U Kyaw Khin explained matters relating to presenting the paddy seeds. Next, concerned officials presented 6900 baskets of paddy seeds to the farmers.

Township Administrator U Kyaw Myint expressed words of gratitude and presented a certificate of honour to an official from Chi Charity Foundation Myanmar.
