The Myanma Agricultural Development Bank (MADB) has begun disbursing 2026 Monsoon Crop Loans to member farmers in Kamma Township, Thayet District, Magway Region, to support agricultural production during the monsoon season.
Today, the Kamma branch distributed K42.6 million in loans to 65 farmers from Phazonhla village tract for the cultivation of 142 acres of monsoon paddy.
The branch plans to provide a total of K5 billion in loans to farmers across 42 village tracts in the township. Under the loan program, farmers receive K300,000 per acre for monsoon paddy and K250,000 per acre for other crops, including peanuts and sesame.— Kyaw Zeya Win (Kamma)
