Officials from Khin-U Township Department of Food and Drug Administration made a surprise check in the pharmacies in Khin-U Township, Shwebo District, Sagaing Region this morning.

A comprising team including officials from the Township General Administration Department, Township Department of Consumer Affairs, Township Health Department, Township Development Committee and Township Police Forces inspected on sale of drug prohibited by FDA in the township. 

The prohibited drugs will be seized and the distributor will be taken action, said officials from FDA. Then the officials urged the pharmacy owners to abide by the Consumer Protection Law and distributed pamphlets concerning the law to the owners. Chit San (Khin-U)
