Myinmu 9 January

A comprising team including officials from Myinmu Township Department of Consumer Affairs, Township Department of Public Health, Township Development Committee, Myanmar Police Forces, Village Administrator and responsible people from the hospital made an inspection on sale of prohibited foods and drug at shops and stalls nearby the Eye Hospital in Htisaung village, Myinmu Township, Sagaing District, Sagaing Region  this morning.

The team also inspected on sale of foods and drug prohibited by the Ministry of Health and Sports. They then shared knowledge on National Food Law that will come into effect on March 15, 2020, according to an official from the Township Department of Consumer Affairs.

In addition, awareness on consumer rights and responsibilities and businesses responsibilities were also shared to the shopkeepers.
