The final match of the state women’s sports sub-committee patron’s cup U-18 women’s football took place in conjunction with prize awarding event at the people’s football ground in the town of Myitkyina, Kachin State yesterday evening.

In the final game, the team representing Putao District beat the squad representing Myitkyina and was crowned the champion trophy.

Next, the awarding ceremony was held and Kachin State Attorney, members of the state Women’s Affair Sub-Committee and wives the state Ministers presented prizes and cash awards to referees, best players and the 1st, 2nd and 3rd winning teams respectively.—IPRD
