Linkhay district administrator U Noe Wai, who act as the chairman of the district natural disaster management committee, Pythu Hluttaw MP U Khun Han Thein Oo, Maukmae township administrator U Han Thura and officials went to village-tracts of Kadugyi and Ho Namp where strong wind caused damage to some houses on 10 and 11 May and provided the affected people with financial assistance yesterday morning.

The district natural disaster management department provided 20 affected-households with a total of K 1.9258 million, K 1.72 million to buy construction materials and K 0.2058 to buy rice. Then, District-level departments donated K 30000 each to the affected households.

Besides, MP U Khun Han Thein Oo aslo gave away household goods such as edible oil, salt, pepper powder to them, while the township Red Cross Society provided each household with a tarpaulin.—Sai Myo Thant ( Maukmae)
