A ceremony to furnish financial assistance to outstanding students and needy students was held at Ngameaing Basic Education Middle School (Branch) in Hinthada Township, Ayeyawady Region this afternoon.
At the ceremony, officials from offices of District and Township Education Officer, project manager, Heads of the school, teachers and students were in attendance. The project manager clarified the purpose of financial assistance.
Afterwards, 13 outstanding students studying in grade 7 and 8, who won scholarship, were provided with K 3.9 million and seven needy students were also provided with K 1,050,000. Then, the village administrator expressed words of thanks to the officials and well-wishers.
