Buthidaung 22 December

 

With the aims of increasing family income and ensuring fish production, a ceremony to release fingerlings into Mayu River was held in Buthidaung Township, Maungdaw District, Rakhine State on December 22.

 

First, an official from the District Department of Fisheries clarified the purpose of the release of fingerlings and the officials added 210,000 fish species of different kinds into the river. 

 

The occasion was attended by officials from the Township Department of Fisheries, Chairman and members of Township Administration Council, departmental personnel, members of Red Cross Association and invited guests.
