With the aim of ensuring fish species security, boosting sustainable development of fisheries, eliminating poverty and creating job opportunities for rural people via increasing of fish species production, Township Department of Fisheries released fingerlings into the Mone Creek Dam this morning.
The occasion was graced by MP Daw Nyo Nyo Oo of regional Hluttaw, MP U Tun Tun Win of regional Hluttaw, Township Administrator U Zaw Min Naing, departmental personnel, officials from Township Department of Fisheries and Community-based Fisheries Group. They released a total of 300,000 fishes of different kinds into the dam.
