Pwintbyu 31 August

With the aim of ensuring fish consumption and increasing fish species, Pwintbyu Township Department of Fisheries organized an event to release fingerlings into Mone Creek natural lake on 30 August.

At the ceremony, Chairman and members of Pwintbyu Township Administration Council, departmental personnel, officials from Township Department of Fisheries, responsible people from Township hatchery, ward administrators and local residents were in attendance. They then released 150,000 fingerlings into the Mone Creek.

With the guidance of Region Department of Fisheries, Pwintbyu Township Department of Fisheries usually releases fingerlings into rivers, creeks, dams and paddy fields.
