With the aim to increase fish resources and to promote fish production, fingerlings were released into natural lake and paddy fields in Yekyi Township, Pathein District, Ayeyawady Region this morning.

At the ceremony, MP of Regional Hluttaw, Township Administrator and officials from Region and Township Department of Fisheries released a total of 646500 fish species of different kinds into Ngawun River and paddy fields in Yekyi Township.
