Htantabin 28 July

 

With the aims of developing fisheries, creating job opportunities for local people and increasing fish consumption, fingerlings were released into Pan Hlaing River along Kyunngue strand road in Htantabin Township, Yangon Region on July 28.

 

With the guidance of the Region Department of Fisheries, officials from the respective Departments of Fisheries released over 700,000 fingerlings from Hlawka Hatchery and Lay Daung Kan Hatchery into the river. 

 

On the occasion, officials from Yangon Region Department of Fisheries, Chairman and members of Township Administration Council, officials from the Township Department of Fisheries, departmental personnel, ward administrator and local residents were in attendance.
