Kyaukme 10 July

A fire broke out in a house owned by U Hla Pe at Ward-3, Kyaukme, Shan State at 8:50 pm yesterday.

The fire started from overheated wires and it spread to the building. Members from the Township Fire Services Department, Myanmar Police Forces and local residents put the fire out with six fire machines and two water tankers. The fire was extinguished at about 9:30 pm.

The fire damaged the upper floor of the building and fortunately no casualties were reported in the incident.
