A fire broke out at a factory in Shwelinban industrial zone in Kasin village tract, Hlaingthaya Township, Yangon region yesterday night.

The fire started at about 8:54 pm and local fire fighters rushed to the scene to fight the fire. The firefighters managed to put out the fire at about 9:50 pm with the use of 33 fire engines and six water trucks. The cause of the fire and loss of damage is being investigated by an investigation team.
