A fire broke out in Makyisu Village in Sidoktaya Township, Magway Region at around 4:00 pm yesterday.

The fire was thought to have started from overheated inverter in the house of Daw San Aye in Makyisu Village, Saytoktay Township.

The township Administrator and firefighters from the township Fire Services Department rushed to the scene to put out the fire and the blaze was successfully extinguished at around 5:00 pm on the same day.

The fire totally destroyed three houses and two motorcycles, and killed a goat. But no casualties were reported.—Khin Than Hlaing, IPRD
