Tatkon, 4 April
A fire broke out in Hluabon Village in Tatkon Township, Nay Pyi Taw Union Territory at about 8:00 am on 3 April, according to the Township Fire Services Department.
The fire was believed to have started from an ember left in the home of U Myo Naing, and completely destroyed two houses and cattle feed store. But no casualties have been reported in the incident so far.
A combined team comprising fire fighters from Bayataung Fire Services Department rushed to the incident scene to put out the fire in collaboration with villagers, and the blaze was successfully extinguished at about 8:45 am.
The wife of U Myo Naing Daw Kyi San was charged for her negligence in Tatkon Myoma Police Station.—MPF
