Kyaikmaraw, 31 January 

A fire broke out in a house in Aung Thukha ward in the town of Kyaikmaraw in kyaikmaraw township, Mon state at 3:00 am today, according to the township Fire Service. 

Shortly after receiving the information, a total of 22 firefighters rushed to the scene with two fire engines to fight the fire. The fire was brought under control after 45 minutes since it had started. 

The house belonged to Daw Khati Sha, 50 and she was not in the house when the fire occured. The cause of the fire is being investigated by the township Fire Service. 

The fire totally destroyed the house but didn’t cause no casualty, according to U Win Tin, the head of the township Fire Service.—Cho Myat Myat Htwe ( Kyaikmaraw)
