Maungdaw, 14 July

 

A fire broke out in Saytipyin Village, Shwezarkappakaung village tract in Maungdaw Township, Rakhine State at about 10.20 pm on 13 July, burning down two homes.

 

The fire was believed to have started from an ember left in the home of U Anogozamal and spread to nearby house. 

 

Firefighters from nearby area arrived at the village together with two fire engines, in cooperation with the local villagers and managed to put it out around 10:45 pm. No casualties were reported in the incident.

 

Action is being taken against U Anogozamal, the owner of the house, for his negligence. —Thet Lwin Soe(District IPRD)
