Mingala Taungnyunt, 16 January

With the aim of promoting fire safety and emergency preparedness, a fire drill was conducted at BEHS-7 in Mingala Taungnyunt Township, Yangon Region this morning.

During the event, U Htay Lin Oo, staff officer of the Township Fire Services Department delivered a speech and shared knowledge about fire awareness to be followed by local people.

Next, six members of auxiliary firefighter led by U Htay Lin Oo practically demonstrated how to use fire engines and fire extinguishers when a fire breaks out in the area. A total of 150 students attended the event.—Township IPRD
