A fire drill was held in front of the Myoma market in Letpadan Township, Bago Region this morning.

The fire drill was organized by the Fire Services Department (FSD) under the Ministry of Home Affairs with the aim of ensuring fire safety measures and making arrangements for emergency situations. Firefighters demonstrated how to use fire extinguishers and conducted a fire drill with the use of fire engines, water tankers and fire extinguishers.

Lower House MP U Kyaw Min, Deputy Township Administrator U Kyaw Zin Lin, Chairman of the township development affairs committee U Kyaw Moe Khaing, officials and local people were also involved in the simulation.—IPRD
