Yangon, 12 February

A fire broke out at Chan Myae Street in Nyaung Thonebin village-tract in Thanlyin Township, Yangon Southern District this early morning.

Officials from the Yangon Southern District Fire Services Department and Thanlyin Township Fire Services Department extinguished the fire using nine fire engines, three water tankers.

Due to the fire, a total of 11 houses were destroyed and no casualties were reported in the incident.
