An event to donate cash and kind to fire victims was held at the meeting room of the General Administration Department in ChaungU Township, Sagaing Region on 21 May.

The Department of Disaster Management provided 17 types of household items, and more than Ks. 100,000 each to the family of fire victim. Likewise, the township disaster prevention supervisory committee and Myanmar Red Cross Society contributed Ks. 50,000 each, household supplies and medical equipment to the fire victims.

Also present on the occasion were Chairman of township disaster prevention supervisory committee U Aung Baw, Assistant Township Administrator U Win Thet Lin and concerned officials.—Yamin (IPRD)
