Employees from the Department of Disaster Management under the Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement furnished the fire victims from Pala Town, Taninthayi Region with cash assistance on August 24.
    

Members from a family became the victims after the fire broke out at a house in Ward-2 in Pala Town on August 24. Officials from DDM presented K 100,000 for purchasing construction materials, K 8,400 for buying rice and 16 types of relief items to four fire victims.
