Mongphyat, 14 March

Fire victims who lost their houses in Nanwoehtaung village, Mongphyat township, Shan state (east) on 13 March were provided with relief items and cash at a ceremony held this afternoon at the meeting hall of the Township General Administration Department.

The relief aids and cash were presented by the Township Disaster Management Department under the Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement.  

At the event, Township Administrator U Thet Lwin, Deputy Township Administrator U Soe Myae and local authorities presented six tins of relief items and construction materials worth K 100000 and K 600000 to each household and K 65100 worth rice.—Than Tun Aye (IPRD)
