Five 800-foot deep wells will be dug for distributing agricultural water in villages in Sarlingyi Township, Yinmarbin District, Sagaing Region during 2019-2020 FY, according to an official from the District Department of Irrigation and Water Management.

Digging five deep wells will be implemented in the villages that face water scarcity for agriculture. Upon completion, the wells will distribute agricultural water to a total of 57.86 acres of farmland.
“A field trip will be made in the villages with water scarcity for agriculture and 800-foot deep wells will be dug in this fiscal year. Arrangements are being made to distribute water from the well and farmers can pump water using their water pump machines” said U Myo Naing Oo from the District Department of Irrigation and Water Management.
Three wells with 800 ft in depth to support 30.29 acres of farmland in Kyatat village and two wells for 27.57acres of farmland in Zeechaing village in the township will be constructed with K 45 million allocated by funds of regional budget in 2019-2020 FY. Than Htay Aung (Kani)
