Kawkareik 13 August

Health staff from Public Health Department provided medical treatment to flood victims in rescue camps in ward-5 of Kawkareik town in Kayin state this morning. 

Health staff led by Dr Kyaw Htike Oo, head of Kawkareik district people’s hospital gave informative talk about seasonal influenza, cholera, preventative measures and the importance of hygiene, providing medical treatment to 225 flood victims from 46 households taking refuge in rescue camp in the compound of a pagoda in ward-5 in Kawkareik town.—Khin Myo Win (IPRD)
