A combined team made up of those from Yenangyoung Township Consumer Affairs Department and departmental officials this morning looked into foodstuff on sales at Yenangyoung Myoma Market to ensure that if they are unfit for public consumption.
During their inspection, they made a surprise check on 11 shops in the market and seized foodstuff bearing expired date, which are to be burnt in public.
Also included in the team were Head of the Township Consumer Affairs Department Daw Aye Aye Khine, Staff Officer of the Township Development Committee U Shein Myint Maung, Chairman of the Township Development Committee and others.—Ko Soe Gyi
