Mongkhat township administrator cup, monsoon football final match and awarding ceremony were held in the Myoma football ground in the town of Mongkhat, Kengtong district, Shan state (east) at 6 pm yesterday.

A total of eight football teams competed in the monsoon football tournament starting from June 26 and police team thrashed military team 4-1 in the final match.

At the awards ceremony, the township police commander gave prizes to first runner-up team, military football team while Col. Thurein Tun and Township administrator Kaung Myint Thu awarded the cup-winning team a trophy and cash prizes. 

Awards are also given to the best players who demonstrated their excellent football skills throughout the games. Township IPRD
