Hluge 10 May

 


Strong winds hit villages in Hluge Township, Yangon Region (North) on 8 May and some houses were destroyed.

 

Due to the forceful winds in Nandi village, seven houses were destroyed and house roofs of 13 houses were flipped over. Therefore, 96 people from 20 households were evacuated to nearby houses and their relatives’ houses.     
                                                                                                                                                                          
In Higue village-tract, a house collapsed and house roofs of seven houses were also flipped over. Therefore, a total of 55 people from 12 households were also removed to the house of their relatives and nearby houses.

 

Authorities from the township helped assistance to the storm victims to remove to safety places and to rebuilt and repair their houses.
