Pantanaw, 25 September

Four Chinese women were slightly injured in a head-on collision between two vehicles in Pantanaw Township, Ayeyawady Region on 23 September.

The accident took place between mileposts 57/6 and 57/7 near Pathwe Village on the Yangon-Pathein Road in Pantanaw Township at about 12 noon on 23 September. A car driven a female named Thet Su Maung collided with another car with 24 people aboard and coming from an opposite direction after she lost control of the car.

Four Chinese women sustained minor injuries in the incident. Action has been taken against the female motorist over reckless driving by the local police.
