Four COVID-19 positive patients being treated in Pratkye station hospital in Taungdwingyi Township in Magway Region were discharged from the hospital this morning.

The coronavirus patients discharged from the hospital have been identified a man, 70, a woman,70, a man, 46 and a man, 39 from Maungdaing Ward-1 in the town of Taungdwingyi.

The four will also be put under seven-day quarantine in their homes when they arrive in their homes in accordance with the guidance of the Ministry of Health and Sports amid the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic. 

Afterwards, the Region Hluttaw Representative and officials from the station hospital gave words of encouragement to them before departure for their homes. Then, members of a charitable group sent the patients to their home by car.

As of December 28, out of 184 confirmed COVID-19 positive patients in Taungdwingyi Township, 159 patients were reportedly discharged from the hospital.
