The local police arrested four men for allegedly betting on a cockfight in Pauk Township, Magway Region on 20 June.

Based on anonymous tipoff, the police force led by Police Sub-inspector Pyae Phyo Aung together with eye witnesses went to a small creek where a cockfight took place. They captured four men including Tint Lwin from Taungcho Village, in connection with betting on a cockfight.
    

The police also seized two cocks, 54 different types of motorcycles, six mobile phones and some notes at the scene. The cockfight bettor has been charged under the Myanmar Gambling Law by the local police station.
