Free health care services were provided to senior citizens above 80 years old in Khaunglanhpu Township, Putao District, Kachin State on 19 July on a door to door basis.

Medical staff from the township Department of Health provided health care services to elderly people every Sunday in the township. 

Medical team provided free medical check-ups, treatments and necessary health care to seven elderly people in the town of Khaunglanhpu.

The township Department of Health will continue to provide health care services to senior citizens in the township till September, according to the township medical superintendent Dr. Gun Sai Li.
