The deputy commissioner and well-wishers donated cash assistance to the Covid-19 positive patients and medical staff in Thayet Township, Magway Region.

The event was held at a public hospital in Thayet on November 12. Deputy Commissioner U Tin Myo Latt and departmental staff contributed Ks 1.21 million to eight coronavirus-positive patients and frontline health workers from the quarantine centers.

Medical Superintendent of Thayet Hospital Dr Nyunt Shwe Aung accepted the cash donation, spoke words of thanks and presented certificates of honour to the donors.
