With the aim of boosting the income of local people and their socio-economic status, staff from the township Department of Rural Development disbursed loans to implement emerald green projects to members of village emerald green project committee amid the outbreak of COVID-19 at its office in Bogale Township, Ayeyawady Region yesterday.
At the event, staff officer of the Township DRD U Bo San gave a speech and share knowledge about the danger of COVID-19. Personnel from the township DRD disbursed loan of the project to members of village emerald green project in accordance with rules released by Ministry of Health and Sports amid outbreak of COVID-19.
Then, staff from the township DRD dispensed K 43.2 million to members of village emerald green project committee in the township. Altogether 147 people – 36 people in agriculture business, five in livestock breeding business, three in fishery business, five in trading business and 98 who will attend vocational schools received loans of the projects.—Thurein Tun ( Minbu), DRD
