With the aim of boosting the income of local people and their socio-economic status, personnel from the township Department of Rural Development under Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation disbursed loans to implement emerald green projects to members of village emerald green project committee in Kinseinna Village in Kanbalu Township, Sagaing  Region this morning.

At the event, staff officer of the township DRD U Han Tun Aung and staff handed over K 46.9 million to members of village emerald green projects committee in the Village.

Altogether 127 people - 55 people in agriculture business, 71 in livestock breeding business and one in trading business received loans of the projects. The disbursement of loans is the fifth of its kind in the village.

Personnel from the township DRD disbursed loan of the project to members of village emerald green project committee in accordance with the rules released by Ministry of Health and Sports amid the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic.—Chit San (Khin-U)
